        I think they are both splitting in 3 at the top. He already has a few trashy points so wont surprise me. He is a super cool looking bull.

                        I'd like to but I usually hunt alone so if I can do it from my pop up I might be able to put my camera on the tripod and video it. If I'm in my ladder stand I don't think I'll be able to. I'll try my hardest though.

                                Do you need to anything to preserve the velvet in that stage?

                                I shot a velvet elk 3 years ago in New Mexico but he was just starting to rub it off. I didn't do anything to it and the skull mount turned out fine and the velvet still looks good.

                                Also you may want to make sure his antlers are starting to harden up underneath the velvet. My brother shot a spike elk in velvet and both spikes broke off when he grabbed them....wasn't hard underneath yet.
