That’s insane. Guess they didn’t get in trouble for gouging.
And what’s worse is people will pay it.

I used to buy those for $15-20......I would go the rest of my life without ever shooting another .22 if that's what it costs to shoot one.

I am actually glay some companies are doing this, it is keeping a little ammo available to the public. The price is stupid, but what if you wanted to buy your kid his first 22, atleast he could shoot it. It's gouging pure and simple.

The sad deal is that people (no one here of course ) forget about this stupidity and keep supporting them until the next time they pull this, and the cycle begins again

I remember the "Run" on Pmags. I heard a rumor Magpul dropped them as a retailer after that little stick up. Maybe its true maybe not.

If so this is more of the same...

Seen lots of places do similar with all types of calibers. They always only have 1 box to make it look like a supply issue to buyers.

They probably beat it. Crappy thing to do? Absolutely. Illegal? Absolutely not. People donít need .22 rounds the same way they need bread, milk, fuel, water, etc. price gouging of necessities is illegal. Charging too much for a product just isnít.

I found a brick of .22 in my shop the other day. Like finding gold!!!!!

It's not gouging, it's just ridiculous.

Don't like it, don't pay it and stop crying. We don't need more nannyism. Don't get caught with your pants down and learn to prepare better.

I want retailers to raise their prices.

It will kill the gougers and hoarders.

Then the shelves will fill up. The manufactures will catch up and prices will fall.

What makes me mad(as a home builder) is that OSB has gone from $6 per sheet to $30 per sheet in 10 months and every supplier has OSB stacked to the rafters.

i walked into my walmart and asked the girl is she had any ammo. Asked me to wait ten minutes, and she walked back with four 333 round boxes. 17.00 a box. that is about .05 cents a round. i picked up two boxes. i consider myself very lucky. This was at the Portland walmart last week.

So what makes you think if they raise ammo prices the prices will come down if OSB isn't coming down?

How about instead of raising prices they increase supply to meet demand?

I don't understand why everyone is so upset about ammo prices. Ammo is just like any other product (silver, stocks, gold etc....). Prices go up, and they go down. It is only gouging if you pay the price. My grandfather had the best advice about ammo. He always said " Buy as much as you can afford, I have never lost a dime on a box of ammo, and I have never had any fun looking at silver and gold coins, but I have had plenty of fun shooting ammo". Pretty solid advice. Stock what you need and avoid the high price increases. If you want to sell and make a few bucks, do it. I ain't angry at you.

Been watching them for a bit and they are down a few cents a round for what stays in stock. Anything lower then 0.13/round sells out immediately. I have a few alerts out. 6.5 prc is the best as last one I saw was 7.50/round which is absurd
