I know this is a long shot..... Anybody have any firsthand knowledge as to whether or not USFS is still logging unit 48 in New Mexico? The last two years there were logging camps set up all over the place and I was wondering if they were still out there. I've contacted USFS and New Mexico Game and Fish and nobody seems to know whether that area is still being logged or not.

I would contact the State Land Office. There is no USFS-managed land in GMU 48.

I will give them a shot, thanks. NMDGF is who told me that USFS was managing the timber harvest in 48.
