Lightbulb Avatar Pic? Is this you...meaning??

Know this OP has come up before, but I recently changed my Avatar pic to honor my military son in harm's way again. I have an inquisitive personality, so I always wonder what YOUR pic means, if anything special to you, on the GS.

Just curious and looking forward to reading what YOUR pic really means to you?

Here's Jake...Pop's thinking about you as always....(By the way, know several of you like updates on my Son...I recently asked him, by text, if he had seen any Bad Guys where he is deployed? He responded...."target rich Pop."

Green timber duck hunt in AR from when my wife and I lived in Stuttgart. One of the best duck hunts I've been on.

A admin called me a hypocrit for something I said when I had my "w7f" (7 is in place of a t) A&M avatar following our UCLA blunder and deleted my previous avatar pic so I just downloaded the standard "no pic chosen" pic

Will probably change it sooner or later

Mine is a buck I killed in NW OK in 2013 I think. Rifle kill but the only good picture I had at the time. SnakeLover had made a profile pic of my biggest bow buck back a long time ago but I changed it. Don’t know how to get it back. Cool thing was it was about 70 degrees and wind was blowing probably 40mph and I didn’t want to go hunting but the ol “can’t kill one on the couch” clicked in so I went out and he walked within 30yds of my rifle stand at 2pm in the afternoon. I used my newly purchased especially for long shots .257 Weatherby Mag to take him down at 30yds.

Yep...I hear ya' with the changes to the Avatar pics. At least for me, I change when something from my past or recrent events affects me? Old, so many life experiences that influence what I feel and react to day by day.

JUST learned something new about you....the initial meaning of my OP. Thanks!

It is me---best job and best memories for the most part of my 30+ year career. Best job because they gave me a 'chopper, free fuel, and a life-saving mission. I take great pride in the numbers of fathers, grandfathers, sons, uncles, cousins, etc that came home because of our work. Someone asked me if I would do it again--not a doubt in my mind.

Just my latest bow kill. Javalina killed while on the Texas Shootout.
I change it when I get a new bow kill. I've started shooting traditional so it's liable to be a while before it changes again. Lol.

A TBH'er made mine for me. When Macie was first in the hospital and I started her thread, everyone wanted me to have a avatar that would be easy to pick out while scrolling through the 100's of post between my updates. Don't think I will ever change it. The fish Macie is holding, she caught all by herself after Tyler and I both told her that we would fish this evening, its to hot right now, they aren't bitting!

I have a borderline obsession with the African spiral horns, the bushbuck being my favorite to hunt. Mess up your shot on a bushbuck and it gets real serious real quick.

Black bear I took in Saskatchewan with my Mathews. I was especially proud because a certain hunting show was there filming with us, and the host of the show literally told me that I would never kill anything with the equipment I was using. Shot him at about 12 yards, complete pass through heart shot, and he only ran about 20 yards before he fell over and moaned.
