I decided I hate 6 foot leashes for walking my Lacy. He heels and I don't feel like carrying around the extra, so I snipped the clip off my store bought nylon leash and made a nice 3 foot leash. I like the way it turned out.
I was originally going to make the whole thing out of white because I have a ton of it left from the military and it was free. I thought maybe I'd dye it black, but that's a lot of trouble. Then I decided to quit being so stingy with my colors and fused in black and blue before I got to the end. I like the all black and blue section by the clip a lot and wish I'd done the whole thing with black and blue, but it still looks pretty decent.
