Rebuilding a Lincon 200 Black face

If you have any more issues with the points, I know that some have replaced them with the "igniter" electronic type.
I have one of the old machines with the Continental flathead engine. It runs great but you have to hand crank it. It does have a provision for a starter but did not come with it back then. Anyone know what starter would work? I've been told there is some type of Ford starter that will interchange. Hate to shell out the $ for the OEM replacement.

Got a Knaack box from a buddy and found the umbrella at Target on clearance. Welded some 1 1/2" pipe to all 4 corners to add a little shade where I want it.

Got a new PC board to replace the old one. It wouldn't idle up when you strike an arc.

It still won't idle down. Not sure what's going on, I need to check some wiring.

Check the switch first. Has it got a high idle toggle switch? Then check the board. May have got a bad " new " one.
