Default ... so, just how good a tracker are ya?

On one for the seemingly 2000 miles Iíve drove on 4 wheeler this week and feed routes Iím always looking for tracks in the snow. Tells me a lot about the animals in area and patterns they use and direction of travel. But itís fun to learn what makes what track.
This one made me hit the brakes! And seemed odd. So I channeled my inner ďslap-a-hoeĒ Indian and put my ear to the ground. ..... ( truth is I could see the end of the trail)

So off this one vague pic, whatís your guess? Iíll post the beast

I gotta say Armadillo, but I've never seen one out in the snow.

I was amazed by all the different types of tracks in the snow when I went to check my cameras and feeders.

I'm going armadillo just based off of the skid marks on both sides. Lol

Really need something for size reference, but I’ll say either armadillo or woodcock. Just depends on how wide the tracks are.

Looking at how big the brush at the top of the picture is, I'm guessing the track is only about 3 inches wide.

Not sure, but saw the same track on way to hunt pigs this afternoon and was curious.
