Last one for now. This is one of my favorite deer on the place.
He loves the camera, and the corn. My guess is 4 or 5 year old. We are only killing a couple of management deer this year. Thanks |

I don’t know how much history you have on him but I agree with the ancient crowd based on pics 1, 3 and 6. I think he’s really old. Rear end is defined and bony with a full chest...in addition to the narrow/droopy eyes.

This is our first year in the area, trying to figure these deer out. Any ideas of what a mature buck weighs in this area? |

160-180 is on the heavy side for a mature deer in that area. I would say 150-165 on average.
That deer is old and I would shoot being a plain 8 |

Local buck contest in Fayette county usually has field dressed weights from 115-135 lbs. There will be an occasional 150lb brought in. Weights are heavier early in the season before they get run down from running does.
