Manner Stocks Question

For those who have Manners stocks, I am looking at getting the MCS-T for a new build I’m doing but am not sure what this small inlet on the tip of the comb is for? Anyone know?

Interesting, I have never seen that before.

It’s for stocks that have a high enough comb that it prohibits the bolt from releasing all the way. Most traditional hunting stocks do not have a high enough comb. It’s more common in tactical style stocks.
