So I need some help trying to determine a fair price on a truck I am going to sell. It was my dads truck and since he can’t drive anymore and it’s been just sitting in my driveway I think it’s time to let it go

2005 Dodge 1500
4.7 V8
Automatic
Manuel window/locks
Miles 41,949 (yes that is correct mileage)

I believe it has just been in one accident and we had the dodge dealership do the repairs (no frame damage ) I believe a fender and a couple suspension components

There are some scratches and the interior needs a really good detail

I will do a tune up/oil change before I sell it

Any ideas on the value would be much appreciated

Trade value $7,000, private party about $9500 according to Kelley Blue Book. Might be more in today's market though.

No idea what an ‘05 with a low mileage gas engine is worth, but I bought an 05 with a 5.9 with 280,000 miles on it last summer for 11K.

Ford F-150 you can still get with a reg cab short bed v8

Lower it, put some 22 inch wheels and tires on it and you will get 20k in Garland.
