    Best way to reheat Brisket

So I have a camping trip coming up and have cooked a brisket and sliced it and frozen it. Also smoked some baby back ribs and froze them also. What is the best way to reheat the brisket and ribs (after thawed) and keep them moist and juicy????

Slowly in a foil tent is what I’d do. Oven or edge of fire?

Should I spritz with some type of juice or maybe put a pan of water inside also???

Vacuum sealed bags, drop in boiling water.

This, hands down. I always vacuum seal my leftovers & freeze them. When I’m ready to eat it again, I just drop the bag in boiling water. Works great.

                Best way to reheat Brisket

On a camping trip... aluminum pan foiled tightly ...no issues.

You can add a little apple juice, water or beef broth if you’d like but I always add some of the brisket drippings to the pan anyway before I freeze.

Also... in the future, for best results, keep it whole, freeze/ refrigerate /package and slice when you reheat at its destination.

Bingo. Taste like it just came off the smoker.

Thanks guys, looks like vacuum sealed in boiling water is the winner....

EDIT: Those of you who have done this, how long do you leave in the boiling water? Don't want to it to be like pot roast...

                            TIA,,,, Richard S.
