I bought the Glock 22 that I defended my life with when I got the opportunity.
I've carried several 2011/1911's that I owned after. All of them will go to my kids someday.

Leadership changed and they got funny about us buying Duty Weapons... so the last one may go back. We'll see when the time comes.

My agency buys and gives us several duty weapons every year. They don’t track them either. My duty weapon is a fountain pen!

I bought my issued revolver and2 glock 22’s and the last weapon a s/w mp 40 cal was given as my retiree weapon, the Glock’s were serial numbered with our dept and badge number in most of the first run locks and second run had our badge numbers in the serial number
