He does have a cool job but I’m worn out with shows trying to create drama by making the audience believe something awesome is going to be discovered. The destinations and the history alone would be worthwhile entertainment.

It is a corny show but I watch it. Not much family friendly programming on tv and I think his is good for all audiences.

Flies into distance places, rents a Toyota Land Cruiser, drinks local beer and goes off to search for whatever treasures the location has. He has searched for Nazi treasure, Mayan Gold, Ginghis Khan's body and Fenn's gold in the Southwest.

He is an entertaining guy. They did once find some old nazi bunkers that were buried but most of the time they never have anything that is a true discovery.

I like the show will watch if I see it on. One episode they found a coin that was buried, it was as shiny as a freshly minted nickle. I think its funny that you search for treasure based of local lore. Some of these people have been looking for this stuff for at least a century. I get its for entertainment, with a side of excitement. Like I said I watch it.

Its more historically accurate than ancient aliens on the history channel I'm sure.
