2019 Trad Harvest Thread

Had some coons show up trying to empty the feeder. Hit one in the forehead with a vpa small game head. He rolled off cursing like a crite from critters. Looks like I need some cheapo broadhead/arrow setups for removing pests.

Now that's a hard noggin! I once glanced a judo point off a coon's forehead - he stood on his hind legs and rapidly rubbed his head with both hands while making weird noises. I swear he looked/sounded like Curly after Moe smacked him on the head with a hammer or something.

Got my second deer of the year this afternoon. Went to a tripod on a road with no feeder. Had my buddy run by and corn the road on his way to another stand. I wasn’t in the stand 10 minutes when a nice doe came out. I shot her and hit a bit more forward that I was aiming, but it all worked out great! She only made it 54 paces from where she was shot.

This is the 3rd critter with my brand new Primal Tech longbow, and first with my new Widowmaker arrows. That arrow zipped thru her like a hot knife thru butter.

This doe was taken on London Oaks Ranch, which is a sponsor here on TBH!!!!
