Mice and trucks don't mix ..... what to do?

I just spent another $350 to repair vacuum hoses on my truck to repair my 4 wheel drive!

A month ago I spent $500 to replace my air intake and other issues caused by mice.

Does anyone have a good solution to keep mice out of your truck and prevent damage???

Pop the hood when you park it and throw some moth balls under it. There are a few threads on this topic with great suggestions too.

Send curtintex a PM. He's the resident mice/rat expert on TBH.

He seems to be a good guy, always willing to lend a helping hand.

Cannot think of the name of it but Tractor Supply has it. It’s some packets that you can put inside and in and around the motor or where ever. We run a Big pecan farm and the rats and mice are terrible about getting in equipment and the same thing. We have never had a problem since.

Tomcat packets is what I throw around the outside of my camp to keep the mice away.

As mentioned above pop the hood and we have had good luck using the Honda rodent tape. Anything we replace we wrap in the tape and they don't touch it. It's like electrical tape but pretty expensive. We have tried all the other tricks-moth balls, peppermint, dryer sheets and none worked.

Tomcat repellent is the best I’ve found. I’ve used mothballs. They help for a little while.
