Finally got back on the lake after many months. Couldnt get em to bite at all. I dont know if its just me or what, but late summer is always terrible for me kn Conroe. They shut down till the water cools. Looking forward to November

Finally got back on the lake after many months. Couldnt get em to bite at all. I dont know if its just me or what, but late summer is always terrible for me kn Conroe. They shut down till the water cools. Looking forward to November

A rare MikeT post!! Good to hear you are back on the water!! Even pros use minnows this time of year. What were you dangling in their face? I've also been hearing the more aggressive fish are moving shallower chasing shad. Seems to be transition with this cold front moving in plus full moon.

I'm planning to fish after work tomorrow and plan to stay for the moonrise.

Thanks, was using minnows. Been real busy with work then broke my ankle in 3 places and tore the ligaments holding it together. Finally able to walk, kinda.
