When you're out running around with your big lenses, what strap are you using, just the standard neck strap, or other? Monster lenses (750mm +) can be a real pain to haul around on the shoulder!

My 100-400mm stays on my Sony a9 pretty much all the time. I have those quick disconnects from Peak Design on both sides of y cameras. I have a padded shoulder strap and a wrist strip both Peak Design. That’s the biggest lens I run.

I really like and enjoy the whole process of wildlife photography. I’m a hunter at heart so I start my walks with the wind in my face and creep in on animals as close as possible as if I had my bow in hand. I figure if I can get close enough for a picture in great focus with a 400mm, that’s the equivalent of taking it with my bow. It’s like proof that I could’ve taken its life, but chose to take a picture instead. It’s a win-win

Thanks really appreciate it! He walked out at 6 yards just in front of me, the call was another 10 yards on the other side of him, which is why his ear is still turned that direction
