Check and inspect. New bow goes boom

I’m pretty good about inspecting my gear. But wouldn’t luck have it. My one week old V3 fell victim to a bad nock. I’ll get into the shop this weekend. Everything looks fine except the string of course. Nothings bent and the cables held everything together. Hopefully this don’t cost me too much.
The broken piece of nock drew a little blood on my lip. Bad, bad day of shooting.

Mathews makes tough bows. That thing should be fine with some new strings!

Out of curiosity, what is the arrow case down at the bottom of your pic?

I’ve had that case for years. Don’t think you can find them anymore.

Same thing has happened to me before. Broken nock sucks.

60 dollar fix. Could’ve been worse.

What did they do to your bow, for $60?

Did you have a spare string?

Glad you are back in business

Cables were good. Shop just charged me for a new string.
