Of course, it all died and turned brown and stayed that way for about 6-8 weeks. A friend and neighbor (about 75 years old) was giving me a hard time about how bad it looked while everyone else had these green yards of weeds they were mowing. When it warmed up enough that the Bermuda started growing, he told me I had the most beautiful yard in the neighborhood. It did look bad for a while, I have to admit. It even looked good for a few years after that, but slowly the weeds took over again.

It will likely be around March 10th before I would be able to spray it this year, would that be too late? I've got about 4 acres to spray, so I need to buy a tow behind sprayer with boom arms.
Would spraying with Roundup eliminate the need for a pre emergent for sand burrs?

We took the advise of local A&M agent and it worked for us.
Apply XL2G pre emergent quarterly for 7 years(lifespan of seeds in ground).
It worked.
