I use the gallagher electric fence system to kepe the deer off.. I have taken down the outer fence so the deer can get in, but kept the inner one you see to keep the cows out!

I'm going to plant winter wheat/oats and so sort of pea like whitler or austrian winter.. First week in Sept! A little early but I want to be out of there for the month od Sept. as much as possible!

Leftridge, be careful about putting it in too early. One year I put mine in Sept. 1, got good rains early, then none for 6 weeks. Everything broke ground early, then died back in the 100 degree heat. Nice food plot, btw.
