I pulled cards in Angelina county this past Saturday. Hogs, hogs, and more hogs. A couple of real jumbo lone boars and a few sounders making the rounds. Also good number of does, fawns, and coyotes but not a single horn on camera. Similar pattern to last year. Saw a bunch of young bucks later on.

Me n my grandsons pulled cards behind the house after a 2 day soak... first pic was a good 8 (legal so they were excited and potentially their first deer...), then hogs started showing up... fewer and fewer deer... Gonna get the stand out pretty quick, then it's game on for those porkers!!

Last time I was at my lease I noticed pigs had been all over an area I was dumping a corn-roasted soybean mix. I don't want to put up a pen there due to it being my hand-corn spot in a creek bottom travel corridor away from my feeder so I'm thinking come deer season I need to bring a .22 when I hunt there. That way I can stealthily snipe those suckers without turning my 7mm-08 loose and scaring everything. LOL

I just got back on a lease in E. TX in Tyler county. I am going up this weekend to put up feeders and camera's. Very excited to be hunting again and to be back in E. TX.

Got our first picture of a buck yesterday evening, then one this morning on the coverts. Don't worry though, nothing like all the hosses you guys have

Trapped some coons at my feeder a month ago and the corn is piling up ever since. I hope the coon carnage didn’t scare the deer away.

Cow peas doing good, got 1 of 2 pens built yesterday to fend off the hog problem at my swamp location. Got a few bucks on camera.
Building 2nd pen and hanging lock ons today... to hot for this much work!
