As I drove past big mineral day Area yesterday, I saw area closed signs. Is that part of big mineral closed? Is it the same area they had closed last year for the eagle?

Got on several groups today down around Elba creek. Kept up with them for a while and almost got a shot off. They were in pretty thick stuff & headed into the thicker stuff [emoji51][emoji51][emoji51].

Overall we saw about 20-25 hogs today. Of various sizes and ages. Definitely better than what we were seeing in Meyers.

When we checked out a little while ago there were 50 hogs killed.

Anyone know the 3 day total?

Our group of 3 hunted all day Friday and then Sat evening. Scouting paid off with us knowing where they wanted to be. In the end we took 20 shots and killed 2. Second sow was hit 2 inches behind the ear and fell dead in her tracks.
