Very nice work. Did you burn/torch that wood? After that, what paint and painting technique do you use? I like the color and look of that red and blue. No, I'm not going to start making bottle openers...haha, but I was thinking of making a shelf for my son's room and I do like that look.

Yes I did burn it with a small 1lb propane torch. I then used minwax penetrating stain that I had mixed to the color I wanted from Lowe's.
