Tarsal glands

How many of you save tarsal glands to use later? I saved a few from the last buck I shot. It's spent the last 2 years in a deep freezer in my garage wrapped up in a zip lock. A few questions I have...

Will they still be good after 2 years in the freezer?

How do you utilize them? I saw a video of someone who put them in boiling water and made his own spray. I was thinking of doing something similar.

I hang them in my blind while hunting- awesome cover sent. ;-)

Squirt some buck urine on them and hang from a bush. They will rehydrate and work great as a cover and or attraction scent during the rut.
