Great work, you should be proud of yourself. Hell, I'm proud of you!!!!!!

I too struggle with my weight 234lbs now I have been as much as 275lbs, which does not sound like a lot, but weight is an issue in my family. When my Dad passed away at 59 he weight 500 lbs. I understand what you have been thru I lived it thru my Dad. He had a heart of gold, but I can't tell you how many time I heard adults call him names under their breath in public, people who did not even know him. And in front of me when I was a kid.

When I go to the track I always tell myself "You owe this to the kids, you brought them into this world and you owe it to them to be here for them as long as possible".

Keep up the good work. Remember "you Owe it to your kids and yourself".
Without your health you have nothing!

Good Job! I've been down that road. I did well for about 5 years and then we adopted two youngsters. I went from 3 competitive tennis leagues a week to zero and just stopped working out. Now that my youngest is driving I have more time and I am slowly getting back in shape. Your ability to take the speed bump of Covid and keep going is very important. Most of the time it is a life change, even a little one, that knocks us off our game. Keep at it. It is an inspiration. I have to set a goal otherwise I can't stay on task. My goal is a remote caribou hunt with my son and daughter. I have to lose enough weight to outrun them when the grizzly shows up

That's awesome, I'm kind of feeling the same pressure from life (extended layoff and first child within last 6mo) and my health has taken a beating. Trying to get back on track with diet just going for run/walks again.

Press on , you're an inspiration!

Awesome job. Just remember you didn't gain it all in one day so it takes time for it to come off. Keep it up. I weighted 264 about 6 months ago and my cousin had a stroke and with the way covid is effecting obese people I decided I needed to lose some weight. This morning I weighted 238.4 and still a ways to go. Congrats on your weight loss

Congrats!!! Your results are spectacular but just keep in mind this has to be a true lifestyle change to be successful in the long run. From the words in your message I have zero doubt that you will. You are focused and committed. Keep it up!!! I lost about 45 lbs 7 years ago and have managed to keep it off. I bounce around a little bit given what life throws at me but I continue to weigh myself regularly(most days) and if I feel like my weight is getting away from me, I get right back after it. Those lbs always come off pretty easy. I think "new fat" comes off a lot easier that than stuff that has been on our body for years. Probably not a fact but I like to think so.
