Never was gonna die I dont think haha. Just mad as hell that our medical system can be so worthless.

FYI weve tried to take minimal sugars. Gatorade we got has zero sugar. Idk how much of each rumor about the rona is true. But I followed some of it.

I can't ever seem to get a straight answer. Surprised they didn't refer you to 12 different specialist 6 months out and hopefully you lived in between.

Hope you and the family are finally on the up tick and getting through it with as little discomfort as possible.

Last Dec right before Christmas Riley came down with the "crud". Fever, no appetite, tired and horrible cough. Took her to the Dr no flu no strep just "flu like virus going around and takes 3-4 weeks to run its course" Dr wouldn't prescribe her the Z-pack so I had my brother go to Mexico and get us both some since we were leaving on Christmas Vacation soon. 2 weeks later or so I got "it" . Dr said no flu, no strep but flu like virus. I had him Prescribe me the Z-pack even though he at first said no. The first 24-36 hrs I felt like hell...chills to high fever to chills. Could hardly breathe and used my inhaler more in 2 days than I normally would in a year....the 2nd day I probably slept 20 hrs. I had a horrible chest pains and hard breathing for 2-3 weeks. I went through 2 inhalers. After I got over it Rileys Stepdad got it and same thing. Ex got a bit of it but it wasn't as bad. I don't know what we all got but all 4 of our Drs said the same thing not flu or strep but flu like.

Brandon...go get the antibody test and you'll know if what you had was covid. It takes no time, a finger *****, and you'll have the results within 20 minutes.

Something I drink everyday. A) Because I like it, and B) for hydration & Vitamin C.

- 1/3 Water (Hydration)

- 1/3 Orange Gatorade - Zero Sugar (Hydration)

- 1/3 Cranberry Juice (Vitamin C, plus good for your kidneys)

Does going out into the hot sunshine help? Are you able to lay in the sun in your back yard for a few hours?

Many a spert is saying a lot of the severity depends on the exposure or amount of cooties you take in & how one's body reacts & absorbs it. Having the zinc / quinine in your system is thought to keep it from the chain reaction so to speak. Also, 50mg's for a 5'8" Mrs Artos isn't the same for a 6' 200lb frame. I'm taking 25mg's 1x daily only because we are having problems even finding zinc in the valley.

Thanks fellas for the input! My multi has 15 mg a day so I guess I need to add a little.

Sunlight is a great source of vitamin D. Just make sure you stay hydrated like any other time you're outdoors for extended periods.

Yes. Applying tremendous ultraviolet or very powerful light definitely helps. Make sure to bring it inside your body, through the skin or in some other way.

Also, if you want to knock it out in a minute, use a disinfectant, like bleach. Make sure to inject some. You know, to clean it.

Also, update your will.

Contact tracing isn't an experiment. It's been done as a part of disease control for a long time. It was much more common when tuberculosis was a bigger deal.

Just because you test positive for antibodies you are really of no interest to a contact tracer.

The cough and fatigue stuck around for me for about a month after I tested negative, and my kidneys hurt for about as long. Glad to hear your son is healing up well! It really is wild how it affects people so differently.

My wife swears she had it in February. She felt crappy for a few days and I finally made her go to the doctor. After that she had high fever, chills, trouble breathing, and felt like she was going to die. She had never been that sick.

They did a COVID like test with the swab deep in the nasal cavity. Doctor came back and barely opened the door. Peeked in and said no flu, but we're giving you some medicine, then quickly left. She got no paperwork or see you later, etc.

Glad y'all are feeling a bit better.

I mentioned blood type earlier on in the thread, Mary. I'm O- and as sick as I felt, I feel like I had a relatively minor case compared to some.

That is why I am asking. I have heard Type O is not being hit "as hard". It would be interesting to see if she is O and he is not.

Brother...I'm not sure & at this point. I'm thinking Mrs Artos could be getting scammed paying for the anti simply to get her plasma. Our radar is on full power & depending on the results, I'll likely try another source to compare. We have already discussed if they say positive, she will not donate at the same location.

I have close friends who spent time in the hospital & benefited with plasma from those w/ the anti, but now I'm hearing there's a scam to get you to donate & they sell regardless for a multitude of uses.

Crisis can bring out the worst in people & we are in the valley...I'll follow up here tomorrow on her results & my sister's fam is also going to do the same since they are known positives.

I would link the old thread but not worth it & this is the most disappointing issue about the internet & the arrogance of typing behind a keyboard...posted a link weeks ago about a fb post where this chiropractor who is heavily invested in the science & politics of covid where he cited dr. friends who worked in local area hospitals had excellent results with the zinc / quinine / tonic water on their patients w/ minor symptoms.

All I did was share the info & you would have thought I was suggesting people do routine injections of gasoline & hydraulic fluid into their veins?? I bet the same folks who posted the guy was a quack now have zinc & tonic water in their cabinets.

If the test is accurate at all, it is more accurate the farther out from the illness you are.

As someone that has faced death on many occasions, I get aggravated at those same folk that tout “my body my choice” concerning abortion but have some tripe to say about another’s choices. When the chips are down, you should have the right to try anything without the peanut gallery opinions.

For those were/are taking the zinc, are you taking it in a pill form or a liquid? Also, I read you shouldnt be exceeding 40mg/day in total, is this correct?

I was taking a 50mg pill in the morning and 50mg at night. I did it for 2 weeks. 40mg is the maximum recommended dosage under normal circumstances, but i guess the concept is to flood your system with zinc.

I think the zicam is maybe the more efficient type as it was actually concocted specifically for Corona viri

Thanks. That is what I was looking for. I guess I should go get some Zicam and put it in the drawer. Call me a hoarder, lol.

Personally, I’m troubled at the lack of early intervention by medical personnel. The stuff is fairly benign when it comes to bad side effects.

Even if you have a bad cold, measly sinus infection, or the flu, they will do something for you instead of send you home to get worse. The Kung-Flu protocol is SUSPECT ! Until they can explain the protocol, they have zero credibility.

What a person should try to avoid (My opinion) is the advancement of the lung problems that supposedly can cause permanent scaring.

I call it like I see it, the medical personnel that refuse to do an early intervention are trying to set themselves up with long term patients to feed their system. They are completely guilty and I hope they burn in Hell.

What early intervention are you looking for?

You know what it is, I think your question is rhetorical, I’m staying out of the political. And to all those that have a problem with the combo, don’t take it.

Sorry just saw this.

Yes. An antigen test is looking for actual protein particles from the virus. So, you collect a sample from where the virus is present (nasal passages).

Antibodies are circulating in the blood.
