The high bays are around $300 each

I have planned for 6 inside and 3 under each lean to.

I bought 2 extra so I may opt for using 3 lights per bay door and just put 2 above the loft.

That would give me 14 high bayís total

Looks great. I might have missed it....do you mind sharing the builder's name? Or can you ask them if they will build in Leon County (10 miles east of centerville)? I'd appreciate it. Impressive work.

How big is shop? I put 8 2x2 high bay in mine 3000 sq ft and it looks like daylight when they are on. I have them switched to turn 2 in center on and 3 down each side separate. They will surprise you with how bright they are.

Default Barndominium Build - Deep East Texas

I went out to the place today to clean up a little after the subs since HVAC, plumber, and electrician all have been working this past week.

Hvac and plumber are both done for rough in.

Electrician should be finished middle of the week and hopefully Iíll have a water meter set by then as well.

Once meter is set and I run 550í of 1 1/2Ē pipe we will then pressure up the lines to make sure everything is good and that there are no leaks so foam can be sprayed.

So first of next week I should have spray foam back out to spray the rest of the shop with closed cell and the living quarters with open.

Hope everything goes as planned.

Iíve talked the wife into selling our house in town and moving out here

We had HVAC run a duct to the under stairs area that way we can heat/cool it as well for another closet. Trying to make the most of our space.

Electrician is finished. If I can get the water company to bore under the road and set my meter, then Iíll be able to finally pressure test all the plumbing. Water is my only hold up right now. Wrote them a check 115 days ago for water......

I knew those lights would be great. You have more in a smaller space than I do and I have no shadows and it looks like daylight.

Are you going with aerobic due to space limitations, or just because you like them better?

I'll be building a home soon where space mY be an issue, so just trying to gather opinions of different types.

I have clay soil so a conventional septic wouldnít work at all and furthermore itís a requirement since I have 9.5 acres and not 10+....aerobic was not a whole lot more than conventional

That closed cell spray foam is the BOMB! Besides the obvious thermal R value I couldn’t believe how much more structural strength it gives the building. It sets up hard....almost like concrete.

Looking great Cory. Congrats on the progress.

I appreciate it man. You are right about that closed cell foam-Solid as a rock. You used to be able to hear the metal pop all the time as the sun would heat up the roof. Now you donít hear anything at all. Iím thoroughly impressed with it.
