Just met with my father in law out at my place to see about building a small pond. I think we found a way to make it work without removing any more trees. Nothing too big. Maybe 1/2 acre

The wife and I primed the outside poles yesterday and then went back today and painted them to match the trim and wainscot. We decided to go ahead and paint them now before the trim and gutters get installed.

Metal guy says he should finish tomorrow or Tuesday and then itís on to the inside!

Very nice! I need to build something similar. Do you know the specs on the beams? The mains look like 12 inch? By how many lb per foot? And the lean to beams look smaller?

Thanks, Dave

Default Barndominium Build - Deep East Texas

The construction of the metal building was completed today. Lumber is being dropped off tomorrow and spray foam crew should be by next Wednesday! It should start moving pretty quick from here on out.

That red dirt is really just clay that gets drug by a 12í harrow every other day. Itís a mess when it rains out there. Once they get the pond dug and the driveway put in, I will get to work on the grass situation. Iím sure thatís going to give me a list of problems as well

I had the living quarters sprayed with closed cell today that way we can frame everything up and get the electrician in. Once everything is wired up and the plumbing is topped out we will come back and shoot the rest

Got my high bay LEDís in today. Went with the
24,000 lumen models with internal dimming drivers so I can program them with a remote

I donít want a shadow anywhere and I hope these do the trick!
