I caught and messed with several these little dudes growing up in Pittsburgh county Oklahoma. Much more docile than the timber rattlers. I did release them all in isolated locations. Thanks for bringing back the memories.

You are right about being docile. I must have stepped over him 3 or 4 times before I even saw him. He did not get released. Lol

Ever have one of those weekends when you have a lot to get accomplished and then everything you touch seemed to break. That was the weekend I had st the ranch.
I was able to get stands completed. Turned out pretty sharp.
Going back this weekend for some dove hunting and finish what I didn't complete.
Couple of pics of the stand. Actually there are two of them.

Those turned out nicely. Should last until you need the walker and your kids are starting to make decisions for you.

That trailer looks handy as a pocket on a shirt too!

Finally, nice work on the logo. Who painted those?

The drone pics are awesome! Food plots turned out really good. I didn't get to plant any plots last year due to getting the 160 property to June. I had a lot of work to get done in a short time period. This year the food plots are at the top of the list. Your daughter's buck is a beauty.

Thanks! You will enjoy the foodplots. Not just watching the deer that will use it on a daily basis but the reward you get by your accomplishment.

Few pics of the ranch from this past weekend. Always good to see a few good bucks that made it thru hunting season.
Rains flooded all the creeks. Water was about a foot over the bridge. Overall the deer are looking good. Hitting the protein and food plots heavy or what's left of the food plots.

I have been running around with my hair on fire lately! Along with you, the rain is a constant issue that is hindering all projects at this point. Very soon you boys will see a thread that will be, to my knowledge, a first for TBH! It should explain my lack of free time

Certainly looking forward to that new thread. I am sure we will all be envious.

I have 2 projects on my "to do list" .
1. Is to dig out the existing tank. Make it wider and deeper. Only if the rain will stop.
2. Is to finish fencing the north end that borders the county road. All ready had a dozer clear the path. Just need to get it done.

I was able to buy it and closed on it in June. I have started a few improvements which didn't need many. I have ran power to the shop and installed lights and just completed a bridge over a creek. I have a few pictures to share and more to come. Thanks Darton. You are welcome to come hunt anytime.
If pictures don't come through I will probably need some advice. Been a while. Thanks

Can you tell me how far across that creek you had to go?

I have a creek that I need to cross and still trying to figure out what the best way is to build a bridge.

I have a creek that I need to cross and still trying to figure out what the best way is to build a bridge.
From bank to bank is 10 ft. I pulled 4 20 ft poles across creek and had a 5 ft overlap on each side.

Iím not sure what Iím going to do. I think Iíve got 23 ft bank to bank. Luckily water doesnít really flow through there from what I can tell.
