Double drop age?

I'm on a new place in South Texas and this fella has become a regular. The drops seem to be a nice trait for this ranch. I've got a pic with 3 drop tine deer. The rules say 7 1/2 yr old minimum. He has a thick body, some sway back, brisket extending and is much bigger than most bucks hes pictured next to, but I've no experience with 7 1/2yr old. Will be tough to watch if the word is too young.

lotta lose skin on that big boy, roman nose and just looks old. I'd be surprised if at least not 6.5

Definitely looks 5+ if not 6+ in the pics provided. The ranch should have some history with that one and have a good idea.

He looks mature but without some history it's going to be hard to age him between 6 and 7. Hopefully some guys on your lease have an idea as others have stated.

Based on these pics & no history I’d say he’s 4-5. Hopefully your partners have pics from previous years.

I bet he fools ya. Would not be surprised at all if he is 7+. Once he is dead who is the age master on your lease. Every lease has one. I would politic that guy.
