Utah has giant cats. New Mexico and AZ most affordable.

We have quite a few lion in SW New Mexico. There are some good guides in the Dusty and Winston areas. Darell Welty has lived, and hunted this area his whole life. Limestone Outfitters is his service.

Southern Utah in the Cedar City area is a great place for cats and there are a lot of them.

Those fires will be out by Dec. for lion hunting.
Utah does have big cats but you'll pay for that hunt.

Mosimann Saddlery and Outfitting in Kim, CO runs some great lion hunts. His dogs are top notch. Will run during snow and also on dry ground. I would highly recommend.

Calvin Redhouse with Rez Hounds who was born and raised in the Navajo Nation is great and affordable. Calvin has been a member of the CARNIVORE Team for about 5 years. Many of his hunts can be seen on CARNIVORE. He is a licensed Navajo Guide and a Marine that performed 5 tours of duty. Really knows the land.

Even when it's covered in snow? I'll ask my fiend who runs dogs about the burn areas up here. Haven't heard anything about mt lion outfitters staying out of burn areas but I may be wrong.
I could see how ash could affect their nasal cavities.

Yep, he told me it does cause issues with the scent but the dogs can get it done.
He takes some nice cats in Wyoming.
