Well, we are sitting here in Throckmorton county. We haven’t seen any sign of brown hair. Good luck to anyone fighting the heat. Had sweat dripping from the beard after getting in stand this morning it was so hot.

We're 7 miles NE of town. I saw 2 does, a fawn, and a heavy, narrow 6-point...and killed 2 night-time pigs @ the camp feeder.

I will be a few miles South of town on the clear fork of the Brazos in November. I usually only get to go hunt up their one long weekend per season. That's generally a good area from my experience.

I'm a few miles from Throckmorton and the deer were heavy into the acorns on my place. I sat along a creek bed lined with oaks and was covered up in deer.
