    Elevated Popup stand

Anyone ever build an elevated stand to put their popup blind onto? Been thinking about building one for our place.

Yeah it’s a good idea to get off of the ground and to keep cows from tearing up your tents .

Easy to do. I have mine on 4' high platforms. Used 4x4's for the corners & built a 6x8' platform. If you do it 8' long it will give you room to get in & out of the door.

I have done a couple. Depending where you hunt I would be careful with the wind. I have had the wind tear mine up a few times on the platform.

been hunting out of one for several years.
I'm going to add an internal welded skeleton this year so I can stop dealing with collapsed hubs.
I might even mount a couple deerview windows to the frame once I remove the pop-up hubs.

Good thought. How would you pull the canvas over the skeleton if the hubs protrude outward? If they don't it might be floppy in the wind.

I did mine last year, 2.5ft of ground worked great, didn't have to worry about snakes crawling in early morning in dark

                          God Bless

You thought you didn't have to care about snakes...

What about that snake that climbed into that mailbox?
