    Well this sucks

A buddy and I stopped by a friend's barn to grab his t post driver so we could put out the hog trap tonight. Backing into the driveway, which I sucked at, lost power steering and the battery light came on.

The serpentine belt broke. I called another buddy and he's on his way to the parts store to get a belt and bring it to me.

I'm bummed butt thankful I'm not on a highway.

    Mosquitoes ain't to bad yet.

Let's look at the bright side:
    • You have a place to trap hogs
    • you have a vehicle that runs (usually)
    • You have buddies
    • You have enough money to buy a serpentine belt
    • You have a phone and internet service to post
    • A hemorrhoid doctor can fix up your "bummed butt"

AND the sun is not beaming directly down and cooking you while you change it

If that belt does not have a radiator hose that has to be disconnected to change it you should be good to go 5min after replacement belt arrives

Excellent. Good luck with the trap. Don't let the tpost driver kick your bummed butt.

I won't. I will admit I've bonked myself in the head s couple of times with one.

Yea I carry an extra belt in the truck. Hard to steer but still can drive it a little. I broke one on the way to Kansas deer hunting and drove 20 miles to the next town without it with no problem. Hard to steer and had to time the braking but I made it to auto zone, and that's why I carry an extra now.

If an old V-belt you could have just taken your panty-hose off and been back on the road. :-)
