A strong contender for sure! There are some stretches to the north that could be technically further east but guessing since there ain't no deer in far east texas there ain't no reason to live there....

My current location (Naples, Florida) is still not as far south as Brownsville TX.

                It's WAY down there.

Odessa is a little further west than midland.
as far as BFE my place in rocksprings is 90 miles to anything other than a family dollar or lowes.

I own a house in Texhoma, Texas that's about as far north of Amarillo you can go and still be in Texas. Heck half of the town is in Oklahoma.

If anyone is looking to buy the house is for sale.
