    I’m no guide and it’s a haul to central Minnesota, but you can shoot all you want here (a legal limit). Literally can get limits with one shell. We have a few ponds surrounded by oaks that are full of them. As far as plumage, you’d want to wait until just before it gets cold, otherwise they’re not much to look at.
    They’re delicious plucked, stuffed with onions and apples and roasted.

          We jump them off the creek. Usually not that hard to find them. As mentioned later in the year is best for wall burds

                  Naw, you can shoot 7.5s if you want. I mean the shots no more than 30 feet

                  And when you find steel shot for 3.95 a box you buys all they gots!

                        like the other fella id really like to put one on the wall in full plumage this year....my father has one and I stop and admire it every time im at his house.....such pretty ducks
