Clu Galager died at 93 on Friday. He's one of the last of the western guys. Gary Clarke and Randy Boone 88 and 80 respectively are only ones still alive off the top of my head.

R. I. P. Clu Gulager. I remember him first as Billy the Kid on The Tall Man, then on various westerns, The Last Picture Show, and finally on the Virginian. -

Clu Galager dies
The Virginian was his best role as the Sheriff. He actually played another character earlier on the show a deaf trouble maker given a second chance. I think also a criminal gang leader in another episode.
