About to head west with the infamous Skinny!! I have enlisted his help to help me finish knocking out a couple of does and/or maybe one of a few possible junky culls.... (Actually he has some peach shine and I came up with a reason to get him around me so I can partake..
)
Seriously though, Skinny, my good buddy Nick and I are headed west at noon for one last hurrah to fill some mgmt tags, top off some feeders/water for the offseason, eat like kings and have a dang good time. Gonna be joined by tbh lease members supersport, txbowhunter4life and hopefully lsmith and their families as well for this hoedown later in the week. I have great signal in the Slacker blind the culls have been seen at so hopefully we can roll with it through the hunt. My favorite blind I killed Woodford at has now become an AT&T deadspot, unfortunately, so if we can't score there at Slacker, we may have to make it semi-live later in the week..
Ragin Blaze Shiner Bock chili, chopped brisket tacos and Amish ribeyes are on the menu for the evenings. Gonna have to limit myself to help protect my girlish figure....the peach shine might lower my inhibitions though..
Gonna be a little warm this weekend but hopefully the deer are hooongry and we can connect on a few of the mouths that need to be removed. Stay tuned for hopefully a good time
