Wow what a horrible thing to happen!! I am so sorry!

Oh Lord we come to You with heavy hearts for this family. We ask You Lord to lift their spirits and comfort them. Lord You know this family and You know what they mean to each other. We ask You Lord to heal this couple and restore their health. Touch them both and close their physical wounds. Make the whole again. Lord, we ask that you protect our brother Will and his family as they travel to be with these who are injured and under Your are. Guide them safely to their side. Give Will the wisdom and the right words to tell this couple's granddaughter of their injuries. Comfort the little one and keep her safe.

Lord, for the perpetrators of this terrible tragedy, I pray that they confess and repent of their sinful deeds, and that their just reward is given. I ask you to touch them, and give them misery and a burden that brings them to conviction for what they have done.

Lord, hear our pleas. We claim Your promises as our Savior and through Your Holy Spirit, cover all the care-givers for this injured family, and for the officials involved with the guilty. Give them all wisdom and a right path forward in all of this.
