I went on a camping trip to Rocky Mountain National Park Moraine Park Campground site #43 a couple weeks ago. The weather was great and the park was awesome as usual....enjoy

Wow how close are you to these Elk?

The closets elk were about 20 yards. The moose and bighorn were around 60 i'd say. All pics with my phone, so nothing was too far from me. Thanks guys, I wanted to stay another week! If anyone is thinking of going and never been, do yourself a favor and take the time to go. Pics just dont come close to doing it justice.

It's rather sad seeing all the beetle kill going on up there, aint it?

I've been through there several times, as well as many other parts of Colorado, and I've yet to see any bighorns!!

We spent a week around Fairplay, and did not see any elk... Lot's of mulies though.

Already planning next years trip.
