That’s about what I thought. I know about half of the names on two pages were going to Harris. That’s one of the reasons I went to BM. Seemed like a bunch in Harris for its size.

Probably not, especially with having to qualify before getting a permit.

They may account for some people not showing up in their numbers. It would be nice to have the standby spots for when the draw goes TPWD. I hunt another public land place in Central TX that gets a lot of attention for big deer and you get to hunt for almost the entire season if drawn. When the draw went TPWD, you had a bunch of out of towners that won the hunt, would hunt once, then never came back. They started setting aside 15 or so standby spots and then any no shows went to standby also so locals that would actually hunt hard could have a chance. Last year 360 locals showed up for 17 spots though [emoji23]. It was like they were giving away free steak at the Sizzler!

Saw 9 doe at 20 yards first thing. Heard some grunting to my east about 20 mins ago.
