New blind is finally set up

My dad & I made a quick trip to Webb county yesterday to get some clearing done and set up my latest blind build. Looking forward to a more relaxing trip next time, now that (most) of the work is done. We sure need some rain down there in a bad way, but I’m thankful we have plenty of water on the place and the protein feeders are full.

Yeah, I kept him out past his old man bed time last night. And thanks. I still have a few details & some flashing to put on the blind, but it’s ready to hunt.

I took my dad out with me a few weeks back, he’s almost 70 and he out worked my brother and I. He wants to go back and do some more cleaning. It also might be the good Mexican restaurant I take everyone to who helps me put in work at the lease lol

My dad will be 69 next month, and still works his tail off. I try to take him with me every chance I get.

Strong work! And you got to spend time with your pops. I get out with Dad as much as possible. Although he’s figured out that if he has enough of us with him, he gets to be the boss.

Very nice set ups. Best of luck this year. Us old men can still get it done. I'm 70 and just finished a 3 room remodel on our home. Had to work my tail off too to get ready for bow season.
