I think its hilarious that many Trump supporters love him so much that they'll declare tariffs (which have always been supported by liberals and never by conservatives) a smart conservative move. At the same time Trump haters (liberals) will declare tariffs an evil conservative move. Neither republicans nor democrats want to admit that tariffs are for liberals. LOL.

Trump is only using the tariffs to level the playing field.

If you’re not paying attention to China flexing on the NBA, Apple, Blizzard entertainment etc. you are missing the big picture. Farmers are taking their lumps, but like a cancer that has grown too large, China needs to be excised and cut down to size now, really 20 years ago.
Really it’s something past due and crosses party lines at this point.

Trump has said he is completly open to free trade with China...if they are as well.

I believe most of the replies on this thread don't see the complete picture and the effort sacrifice and commitment it takes to stay the course to win the war so to speak. The battles may appear that much was lost and if you are looking only at this snapshot for this period of time it may look that way. Democrats, communist, and socialist have 10, 25, 50 and 100 year game plans and it's about time conservative Americans realize that and if we don't we have lost before we even started to engage.
