Me too, besides that I have two more plots to plant in Trinity Co. that I’ll be doing Friday and Saturday. There’ll be plenty of cooler weather before it’s over.

I will wait for deer hunting weather. Just because it is legal doesn't mean that I have to do it. I do have the luxury of controlling what goes on where I hunt. No guns until Thanksgiving, so hopefully some cool weather will allow me to hunt prior to that.

Here in a Brazoria county it’s stupid how early they rut. I notice every year it peaks about the 2nd week of September and is already trickling off by the bow opener.

I gotta work this weekend, so my opener will be Oct 5/6. I was pumped to see the forecast for next week!!! Will be checking tomorrow...hope it doesn't go back up to the 90s!

Hot and rainy in Bandera county is what they're calling for right now. If it's raining, I'll be in the pop-up. If it's not, I'll be in the tripod. I hate to complain about rain with as dry as it is, but I sure wish this moisture would hold off till Monday or Tuesday.
