Talk about CRAZY things ! (Boaris).
If you ain't read the thread about Boaris, well.... you should, lol.
He will follow the mule (SxS) EVERYWHERE. Wont follow the truck when we leave but if you leave in the mule, he's coming.
Wanted to go corn a spot to check for pigs tonight about 1.5 mi from the house so I had Ethan feed Boaris in the back yard then we hauled tail down the road in the mule. Was just after dark.
40 mph for 3/4 mi, then over 1/2 mi through a pasture. Rounded some trees and drove right into a pile of pigs.
Chased em on the mule a bit and then they ran off in direction of the road. Killed the mule and set up a camera and was putting out corn.
I heard gruntn and told Ethan to get back in the mule, pigs were coming back. Well.... it was BOARIS!
I cant believe he found us! He's never been down the road with us. He was pretty excited with all the swine smell. We finished setting up our surveillance system so we walked Boaris a few yards through some trees to a known water hole to cool off. He drank and wallowed a bit and was good to go.
We did notice a vehicle go down the road before we left. We went 5 mph all the way back with Boaris alongside. A few 100 yds from the house and Boaris goes nuts and runs ahead to a fresh plowed sow in the middle of the road! The vehicle that passed must've hit it. Boaris really checked her out good, lol.
I drug her off in the ditch and we went on to the house. Pretty eventful eve....
