Leaving out at 5:00 am. I'll keep updated as possible, pending reception. Ought to be a blast. Have a guided trip with Doc Thompson on Friday. Then a lot of kayak fishing on Eagle Nest lake and fly fishing the Cimmaron River.

Feel free to Shoot me a text if you need restaurant or fly fishing spots. I’ll PM my number

Made it is a couple hours ago. Went to Wally World and unpacked. Cool place. Awesome view off the back porch. Not sure where we are going tomorrow but Friday is a full day with Doc Thompson. This 5% humidity is freaking awesome .

Mainly just driving around looking at
Different spots today. Confronted my fear of heights by driving to the bottom of the Rio Grande Gorge. Hill descent assist on the F150 is awesome. We are kind of like a fish out of water(when it comes to this kind of fishing(pun intended). It is beautiful up here. Guide trip (full day)to the Cimarron River tomorrow. Sunday is a half day trip on Eagle Nest Lake with Jeremy Jines. My goal is to catch a bigger pike than Burnadell.

I hate heights. That bridge would have me puckered.

Rio Grande Gorge is pretty cool to walk out on.

Oh I hate them too. But the railing on the bridge was high enough it didn’t freak me out.
You really would have hated the drive to the bottom.

When you look of the edge of the bridge it’s Erie thinking about all those who have decided to take the plunge off of it.
