130 is still open right now, shortest route to the east side of the Range. Fire is still a ways south from 130. I-80 drive is not bad but lots of trucks and usually wind.

South part of Snowies is mostly off limits right now and the fire is still growing.
Much cooler weather coming in Oct but haven't seen much moisture forecast yet.
Some tags are getting a refund offer, or postponement to next year.
