Fat buck question

This is a pic of the fattest buck on my place. Could there be any correlation between just having one antler and being this fat? No other deer are even close to being as fat as he is. Most are in decent shape but not fat at all. Any opinions are welcome. Have a good Hump Day!!

I’m thinking this to ^^^ I have a lease in north west mills county and we kill a couple bucks a year that stay in velvet and have funky horns for whatever reason they’re always a lot bigger bodied than the rest. They usually have no nuts.
