Seems like 5" is pretty common across the area. Three different places around los angeles, big wells, and pearsall all got about that and its still raining. Further south we got atleast that. Looking forward to seeing the tank levels

Funny you say that. I put this in one of my pens Saturday afternoon that’s a long ways from any deep water tanks that still have some water. It’s been bad down there like everyone else’s place just about everywhere. Kind of like washing a car then having it let loose the next day. Y’all are welcome. Lol

We are in LaSalle County off 624 and have almost 7” of rain. My neighbor to the south of me is saying 7 3/4” and it hadn’t stopped raining. Tanks that were dry are now full. Thank you Lord!! This is an 8 acre lake that was down to one or 2 acres yesterday. As you can see it’s 30 acres now. And that’s not a river that is one of my roads.

                      Afternoon snack...

The boys took advantage of a lull today. TildenHunter, if you don't mind can you give an update on your rain totals? My weather station crapped out.

I'm sure it screwed up a lot of cotton.

When it blew up this morning it started off about 10 miles north of me.

Where is the runoff from these south Texas rains headed? Which lake if any. Also the rain in Mexico, does it go into the Rio Grande? Just curious if Falcon or Amistad will receive it.
