    Hanging feeder questions.

First year up in Oklahoma and first year dealing with bears. They keep tearing up my tripod feeders.

Anyone got any tips for how to deal with them or best way to convert my feeders into hanging feeders?

I was thinking of using all thread and chain and using a boat winch with a couple pulleys.

I've Used A Good Hand crank Set up With Chain to Secure to A Smaller Diameter near by Tree And Then Run a Cable To a Bigger Tree limb with a Simple Chain/Pully. It would Have to Be High Enough where you Could Leave the Feeder About 9ft off the Ground and Still Have a Good Distance Between the Limb and The Top of the Feed to Prevent The Bear from Getting to It But, It would Solve Your Problem. I dam Sure resolve a Bad Coon Problem We had on a River Bottom

And just use the minimum amount of cable.
You don’t need a full spool.
I’m fixing to cut some off of a couple I have.
